CNN runs Swift Boat Ad

Tuesday, August 31, 2004, I saw what looked like the entire Swift Boat Veterans For Truth Ad, on CNN.

Tuesday, Aug. 31st, '04, I am surfing the stations and pause on CNN. Around ten AM, may have been 10:30 AM, suddenly to my surprise, the Number two Ad from Swift Boat appeared, seemingly en toto. I was very surprised.

Don't confuse ads bought from your cable company to run on CNN with ads bought from CNN.
The Swifties are targeting specific states, and you don't do that buy buying a national ad.

The Swifties are targeting specific states, and you don't do that buy buying a national ad. I dunno... I'm sitting here in Western Massachusetts, and I just saw the Swifties Ad on CNN. (about 90 mins ago)

Contribute to these guys! Its the most bang for your political buck! No one else could educate the public on Kerry like these guys can. They are very brave for taking Kerry on. Their character has and will be continued to be attacked. We must support them!

This appears to be a scurrilous anti-Kerry commercial. Such nastiness makes one think twice about whether the government should allow "free speech" in parts of the country where people are too stupid to know that socialism guided by hyper-smart people like Jean Frenchie Kerry and Hillary Clintoon is good for the little people.

I live in Maine and I saw the ad on Fox and Friends this morning. It appears that we may be seeing the nationalization of the swifties ads. As a well known (and well worn) presidential candidate said...yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhh, (or something like that).
