Miller was awesome last night. Everyone on the floor was going wild! The only complaint was that Zell didn't allow enough time for us to cheer all his great lines! If conventions are about firing up the volunteers, then this one is WORKING! We are all exhausted but we are energized for the next 60 days to say the least.

President Bush should open with a prayer for everyone in the path of Hurricane Frances. They are going to need it and it will make him look good as well -- a 'twofer'.

I've got to run to a meeting...

But, I love McKinnon's hat = cool.

I've been praying over this convention day, especially the President's speech.

anyone else surprised that Rummy and Powell haven't droped in

I've heard that it is tradition that current admistration officials keep a low profile during conventions.

They may be there today or tonight in attendance for their boss's speech, but not to participate. I just posted a pic above showing Condi in the midst at Madison Square Garden.

His best line was "Even the democrats, deep in the dark of night in their beds, are glad that George Walker Bush is the president". LOL
That's a keeper.

My husband and I saw him on FNC on Monday (?.. I think), and he totally cracked us up. (He's still a nut.)

Man did you get that right!!!!!!!
I have loved every minute of this convention!

And I am energized as I ever was!

I went to pick up a few things at the friendly WalMart store this morning and ran into several different friends.

EVERY ONE OF THEM ASKED WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT ZELL!!!!!!!!

I'm excited and ready to go!

Yes, my Dear.....he is ruggedly handsome. Just down right tough looking!

And I myself can't take the chatter! I have stayed on c-span also.

My choice is FOX, but for the life of me,
I don't like fair and balanced negative!

The very idea they have any liberal on there gripes me to no end!!!
I think they should be a lot more conservative and hire only conservative people.

Why not?

My heavens, we have all the other stations that have the liberals! I personally don't see there's a problem with having ONE that isn't!!!!
We get enough of their trash even on "Fair and Balanced".

I will watch FOX, because there isn't anything else.
They are all that's left.

But, for the RNC I am on c-span.

Thanks for those pics. I had forgotten to mention that I saw Condi Rice there this morning.

They all looked terrific.

I thought Franks was supposed to be there too.

CSPAN is speaking to reporters covering the convention. I just took a quick look and they happened to have on the screen:

8:35pm ET Tommy Franks

Re #75:

Wow! I see not only a cross on the podium but also a star over GWBs head. The party of secularism is going to freak out completely - probably go to the Supreme Court to get them removed from the historical record.
