No, Matthews loves the call for a higher purpose. The President was magnificent tonight. He put it out there, paths to personal responsibility and paths to liberty around the world.
Mathews is just trying to pander to viewers, cause he knows he's lost all respect, imho.
He let his bias show.....big mistake.
Rev Dan Reed interviewed by Campbell Brown..asked if he thought speech was too serious...not "red meat"
.He said he had a son that was in Kuwait ,in Baghdad, and remembered 911 well..He thought it needed to be serious and believes he saw water in the President's eyes...(Campbell was very saddened by the answer)
