Thank-you for answering in depth, and specifically. I appreciate it. Though I still disagree with your take on Bush's speech, I understand your concerns about some of the domestic proposals, and respect them. I share some of those concerns.
But I respectfully submit that our focus now, in the middle of this war against Islamo-fascism, at this point in American history *MUST* be on keeping our equivalent of Winston Churchill (Bush) in office, as opposed to an obvious & confirmed 21st century equivalent of Neville Chamberlain (Kerry).
I have a wife & children I love deeply and want to see kept safe: accordingly, "domestic" concerns have pretty much fallen off of my radar screen as a major point of contention with the leadership of my Party since 9/11/01. Sorry, but that's just the way I feel.

I never said I would even consider voting for Commie Kerry!
I am disappointed that we are not concentrating more fully on the W.O.T.(to include controlling our borders), economy (at ALL levels), and American self sufficiency (energy, minerals, food production).
The line I liked best was the one about eliminating lawsuits, but I am wondering if Bush will lend his support to passage of the bill to end the HCI lawsuits seeking to bankrupt the firearm industry?
Overall I would have been much happier with a firm commitment to a much narrower list of goals.
I appreciate your civil discourse, you are in the distinct minority there! ;-)
