Here is what I think about FOX... About what? 2 months ago now, when it was starting to look kind of Bleak for the Rebublicans, and the Repub. Congressmen were getting REAL antsy, right about then there was some kind of SHIFT in Fox News, where they really pumped up the "Fair and Balanced" mantra and seemed like they did a real shift to the left...
I think it has to do with Bill O' Reilly... He has a HUGE influence on that channel, and I think, for whatever reason, someone or something got to him around then...
I think he was either reacting to himself becoming "Type Cast" as the "evil conservative" at Fox, where none of the Guests wanted to come on his show... an effort to moderate his show, and FOX news in general, to get more of the Liberal Guests to come on, for raitings of course...
OR Bill saw the DEMOS as winning in November, and he wanted to be in the position of already being a good Demo rump-sucker so that he and his show would fit into a DEMO controlled political scene, you know?

It just goes to show that Fox's schtick is just that. All the "Fair and Balanced" nonsense was an act. It lasted only as long as they needed to expand their viewership.
why is oreily the big shot there? Hanity is far superior.
Oreily only has ratings because he has not time competition. IF PMSNBC would WAKEUP with a real counter programing they would have won hands down. I am no big listener of M.Savage but in a head to head, he would wipe the floor with oreily. PMSnbc had a golden opportunity and they blew it.
I share your feelings on this.
There are still a handful of those at FOX that I still enjoy, but there seems less with each passing day.
BTW.....At the northwest corner of Washington State, it is clear blue sky and dry here today. LOL
