This survey is of companie. I've never heard it addressed, but where does it take into account all those who left the mainstream workforce to start their own internet based business?
The whole point is that those who left the mainstream workforce and go into business themselves is not part of the manufacturer's survey at all. It can only be accounted for in the household survey, and I'm not convinced that does a very precise job at all.
