I've read 2 versions (BBC and ITV), both probably accurate, from the hostages themselves. One is that some of the children (it fills me with anger as I type) were doused with flammable substances in an effort to booby trap the place. The other is that they were packed into small rooms like sardines, denied food and water and the outside daytime temp was 95-100. These terrorists are sick, twisted f***'s.

It became very hot in the gym where the children and others were kept. No water nor food for three days. Hence the pictures of the children and others drinking bottles of water and in states of undress.
I can't imagine the horror of those three days. Prayers to those children and their families. I would not want to be the bad guys over there right about now.

I read on another thread that they were forced to strip and sit with their knees bent up under their chins the entire time. When the kids cried, the terrorists threatened to kill them, holding guns to their heads.

In a newspaper article a woman said she was allowed to go into another room with her crying toddler because it was cooler there, and they had water in there. I imagine that most of the kids in a big crowded room with no water were hot. That's what I am hoping anyway with the no clothes.

This same woman was allowed to leave with one of her two kids (2 and 9 year old). She was holding the two year old and quickly gave her 9-year old to an older student (19 years old) to pretend the 9 and 19 year old were mother/daughter. The islamofacists figured it out. The woman left with her 2-year old with the sounds of her 9-year old fading as she left the school.

The article was written before the final bombing and assault so don't know if the other child survived.

Many didn't - prayers for these poor suffering people.

I was thinking of my cousin's kids who they adopted from Russia. Those kids and families already have so many troubles and hardships (witness some of the kids with ribs showing, etc.). And now they somehow have to survive through this ordeal.

No, the temperature was very high >90°F, no A/C and no water. The victims were trying to stay cool.

Supposedly the children were not allowed to use the bathroom for days. I imagine their clothing was quite soiled. It sickens me further that in spite of extensive media coverage, they refuse to identify these animals as islamists.
