I'm glad I made it, it was a busy morning for me. I was surprised (pleasantly) at the relative emptiness of the city, it really didn't feel like the Apple.

This is the first time I've had the opportunity to meet any freepers face-to-face...an eclectic, interesting bunch...and rock solid, both the NYers and our guests.

And my digital camera's memory card got zapped by the crack security team at MSG (they used the TSA for screening!), so I've been trying to retrieve whatever photos I can from it with software I bought this afternoon. Lost some good pics, but salvaged the one of me with Newt Gingrich -- and I look atrocious in it. :(
