Actually I didn't mind watching Brooks at all. I myself didn't require the after speech conservative cheerleading that say a Newt Gingrich would have done. They only one in their lineup, and PBS is stocked with libs, who went over the top was Shields. Anytime Vietnam came up Shields got visibily angry and and shaken like his world view was coming apart. I have never saw so much angst and literal hand-ringing than when Rove was sitting next to Shields. I've always like Jim Lehrer. He's polite and non-interruptive.
