Laura Bush knew what the Twin were going to say and she approved it. That's all you need to know. It was cute. that's all it was meant to be.

Novak was going all off on how terrible the Twin's speech was. The problem for Novak and many like him is that they seem to be incapable of understanding that the twins were talking to their peers and not some grumpy old white guys.

Will the media go after Peroutka's remarks about Bush's daughters as much as they have Keyes' remarks about Cheney's daughter?
No.
Perouka's opinion mattters not.
He is insignificant.

However, the girls consistently disobeyed me, and for their own protection, I relinquished custody to the Department of Social Services. Wow. This explains a lot about why Peroutka is the way he is. He probably hit the campaign trail to get away from that control freak harridan he's married to.

Will the media go after Peroutka's remarks about Bush's daughters as much as they have Keyes' remarks about Cheney's daughter? Call it a hunch, but I think the press will pay almost as much attention to this press release as it does to anything else the Constitution Party does.

They weren't funny. The whole thing was awkward, and I felt tortured.
The girls could have -- and should have -- written their own material. It would have been more natural, and more funny.

I just got in from work but I wanted to respond.
After rhe twins speech, I asked my 25 and 22 year old (sons) what they thought of the twins. Both liked them and said "the oldies" probably won't "get them" -- that they were "spot on" and "uuummmm".
They weren't there on stage for "us oldies" -- if you get my drift....
Cheers

You almost have it correct,...right-wing, christian, extremist, do-gooders on a personal crusade and separate from what Christianity is all about, probably get indignant over that type of publicity. Those who simply remain in fellowship with God through Christ aren't so reactive,..they merely respond in loving kindness.
The national elections influence a very wide swath of body politic. Not all voters are the types who read the political columns.
IMHO, there's plenty of demographics out there which may have related more favorably to Bush by that example of familial influence than watching other past IMPOTUS' family members.

Regardless of politics, it gives me the hibby-jibbies that he calls himself a "Christian". "I'm a sinner" is not a get out of jail free card for evil and illegal actions... And then people are supposed to say, "Oh, alright, I'll vote for you."
To: thoughtomator
Just another reason why I'll be voting GOP even though ideologically I am far closer in alignment to the Constitution party.
Yeah. I took one of those stupid "political alignment" tests, and I came out closest to Peroutka (I was a bit more conservative--heh). Just remember: you can't spell Peroutka without P-E-R-O-T (not my line, but I like it).
