U.S. Army National Guardsman, Spc. Ryan Anderson, shown in his 1995 high school yearbook picture, was convicted of trying to aid al Qaeda by detailing ways to destroy U.S. weapons and kill soldiers to undercover agents, army officials said on September 3, 2004. Spc. Ryan Anderson, 27, was convicted on all five counts of attempted treason and related charges by a panel of nine officers in a court-martial that concluded on Thursday.
