UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Go to www.xi-soft.com and download and install Net Transport (it's freeware)

2. Run Net Transport and click on the New Button (3rd button in the row of buttons below the menue bar).

3. In the dialog box that comes up, enter in the URL for 1 of the video files you want into the upper left field, then click OK. Repeat for all the video files you want to include. Note that further down on the left side you can set where the file will be saved on your hard drive.

4. Download the playlist (GOP.ASX) here (right click, Save Target As) and put in in the directory with the WMV files.

5. Download the autorun file (autorun.inf) here (right click, Save Target As) and put in in the directory with the WMV files.

7. In the directory where you saved the WMV and the ASX files, create a directory named 'vid'. Move all the WMV files to the new directory.

8. Double click on GOP.ASX and make sure the playlist works.

You can burn the ASX & INF files and the vid directory to a CD-R. Make sure the ASX, INF files are in the root directory of the CD-R, and the vid directory is a subdirectory of the root directory.

The playlist will work even if you didn't download all the video files. If you know what you are doing, you can include other video files too, but there won't be much room for that unless you leave some speeches out.

CD-R's are cheap, and handing out copies of this could reach those who didn't watch it on TV.

- Set up downloadable ASX file (corrected for the Frist filename and with an entry for the Miller-Matthews video)
- Set up downloadable autorun.inf file

Important Notes::

I have not had time to fully test all the changes.

I am still working on getting a better video of the Bush intro video. If/When I get it, and if I can find someone willing to host it (you can bet it will get a lot of downloads), I will give it the same filename as the one in the playlist, so it would just be a matter of substituting the WMV file. If anyone knows of a tool to crop and/or convert a .rm file to mpeg, avi or wmv, please let me know.

OK i have stayed silent for a long time and have just been lurking but I know some here have said they would like to have this in dvd format so once you have the better file for the President's intro I will take everything & make it all into a dvd. If you or anyone knows of someone who can host a dvd file (4.7 gigs) then freepmail me & I will send them the file so everyone who wants it can download it.

Also just for reference it will be in a .ISO format so it's best to use a program that can burn in that format to a dvd.
