An extremist Islamic movement in Britain plans a convention in London titled, "The Choice is in Your Hands: Either You're with the Muslims or with the Infidels," to mark the third anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
As WorldNetDaily reported, last year the group, Al-Muhajiroun, had planned a similar anniversary event called "The Magnificent 19 [Suicide Attackers]," but canceled it at the last minute.
The group's leader Omar Bakri, a Syrian residing in London, told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat the convention would feature al-Qaida "surprises," with the screening of a never-before-shown video, reports the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI.
He said the convention will focus on "the anniversary of the division of the world into two great camps -- the camp of faith and the camp of unbelief," and would take place Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Bakri added: "On this day, we will talk about the ramifications of these [9-11] operations for Afghanistan and Iraq ... . We want the world to remember this operation ... that lifted the head of the [Muslim] nation."
Bakri called 9-11 "a cry of Jihad against unbelief and oppression" and said the aim of remembering it is to "revive the commandment of Jihad among the youth of the [Muslim] nation."
Bakri said the convention also will feature a lecture about the Islamic religious roots of "slaughtering the infidels," referring in part to the beheading of foreigners in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
It will include films by al-Qaida, the Tawhid and Jihad organization and the Brigades of the Two Holy Places in the Arabian Peninsula.
Also, the conference will feature a film on the most recent operations in Chechnya, he said. He added that one of the speeches, by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, al-Qaida's military commander in Iraq, will be translated.
Another lecture, he said, will be dedicated to the memory of three al-Qaida commanders: Abd Al-'Aziz Al-Muqren, killed in June 2004 by Saudi security forces; his predecessor Yousef Al-Ayyiri, killed in June 2003 in a clash with Saudi security forces; and Abu Hafs Al-Masri, a top al-Qaida military officer, killed in the U.S. attack on Kandahar in late 2001.
According to Bakri, the anticipated criticism of Al-Muhajiroun for the organization's insistence on memorializing 9-11 will be "a simple sacrifice in comparison with what we must actually do -- that is, support the Jihad led by bin Laden."
Attorney Anjam Choudry, secretary-general of Al-Muhajiroun in Britain, said, "A large hall has already been secured for the convention, but the announcement came only two days ago for fear that the British police would try to cancel it, as happened with the previous convention."
Oh good... We should plan a few of these here so we can flush out the functionally insane terrorists hiding out in our population.

‘We don’t make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents,’ he said, clarifying the ground rules. ‘Only between Muslims and unbelievers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value.’
The cleric added he expected to see the banner of Islam flying in Downing Street. ‘I believe one day that is going to happen. Because this is my country, I like living here,’ he said. ‘If they believe in democracy, who are they afraid of? Let Omar Bakri benefit from democracy!’
It is now long past time for the world, and that means the world's governments to finally face facts.
The blame for what just happened in Russia, and for all the preceeding horrors of the WTC (both attacks), Nairobi, Khobar Towers, the Cole, Bali, and on, must be laid squarely at the feet of the Arabic states and the Muslim preachers of hate that inhabit them. The reluctance in these lands to silence these slimy purveyors of hate has been obvious for too long.
It has now become incumbent on us all civilized peoples to demand that these Mullahs, Imams, Shiekhs, and other assorted "nutbags of esteem" in their benighted lands are quieted forever.
It is now time for Muslims worldwide to understand that the desire of the West to see Islam survive cannot be greater than their own. If the death-wish now so manifest in the Islamic world is not curbed BY the Islamic world, then it certainly will not be incumbent on us, their victims, to insure a sweet outcome on their behalf. Many of us, like me, would rather help them on their way.
It is time to bring the hammer down, people, and in so doing make Muslims everywhere fear us more than they fear the sociopathic death worshippers in their midst. Maybe then they will act.
It would be preferable that they act first of their own volition out of a sense of morality or even out of a desire to survive, but I fear that they secretly love and admire these murderers of children, and pray for their souls and for their success.
If so, they are as craven as the murderers themselves.
Perhaps they think that in the coming war, they will prevail. They are wrong. When this war comes, we will not be able to wage war with the delicacy that we have shown in Iraq. It is up to the Muslims now, whether they wish to live as civilized human beings, or die as pigs.
Collecting them to one spot, should be a short air strike...
This is what we're up against -- and why we will prevail.
Sadly enough, I had exactly the same thought. This many terrorist assembled in one place - how convenient. We surely have a cruise missle or two laying around.

I find this whole situation to be iconceivable. This akin to the Nazi's holding a convention in New York City in 1943 to commemorate the London Blitz.
Why these people have not been expelled from all decent countries is a mystery to me.
When do we get to start treating the enemy like the enemy instead of as an honored guest? I am sickened by the whole situation.

You do make distinctions, that is you attack school children, truck drivers, civilian airplanes and the unarmed. You are so primitive, misguided and inept that you almost always MUST AVOID the armed. Greatness is determined by the strength of the enemy you defeat. Have some honor and go after a fighter. Was Mohammad so weak he sought battle with babies? Are your armies nothing more than soldiers seeking to overcome children?
Round them all up, one by one, until they're all dead I guess .....

Thanks for the ping. With my anger and grief still raging about the Russian children - this just about takes me over the edge. Looks like the world needs Britain's Greatest Generation to show their faces about now. This just cannot stand.
