Mike Adams on C-SPAN2
C-SPAN2 ^ | Sept. 4, 2004

For those getting just a bit tired with the all-Frances, all-the-time coverage (even I am, and I'm in Florida), Dr. Mike S. Adams, author of Welcome to the Ivory Tower of Babel: Confessions of a Conservative College Professor and a Townhall columnist is on C-SPAN2's BookTV right now. A nice break from the usual leftist drivel that's usually shown.

We now return you to Frances-mania.

Amen. I don't know what's more long term damaging, Frances or being told every 5 minutes for the last 3 days to buy batterys and water or watch a bunch of numbskull reporters on the beach trying to make a strory out of some wind and tumped-over trash cans.

Have been watching. He's giving his talk to Yale Law School students and it runs for another 45 minutes. Looks like he is old enough to buy a beer.

CNN's live coverage of the guy maneuvering the 80-foot boat around the Intracoastal Waterway at Palm Beach was pretty exciting.

He anchored the yacht out in the ICW last night, but the anchors pulled this morning. While he was trying to move back to the marina, he lost an engine, then his generator and bow thrusters, then the steering.

As a longtime boater, it was pretty exciting to watch, and the captain did a great job. Handling a boat like that in high winds would be a real challenge.

"Looks like he is old enough to buy a beer."

Not a bad looking young feller. Pretty smart, too.

Mike Adams seems like my kind of hellraiser. Looks like he'll have about 30 minutes for questions from the Yale Law Students.
