Well, the place is named after San Francesco (as he's called in his own language).

Well, not quite. EWTN makes its home outside of Birmingham, AL in a little town called Irondale.

Franciscan University of Steubenville does happen to be one of the most conservative Catholic Universities in the country. We know a girl who attends there and the students and faculty alike are in tune with traditional Catholic values, not the typical American 'Cafeteria' Catholic values we hear so much about.

Scott Hahn, the conservative Presbyterian scholar and pastor turned conservative Roman Catholic scholar and theologian is a professor at Steubenville.

Steubenville and Zanesville are seedbeds of Catholic conversion, especially by former protestant pastors. Marcus Grodi, of the Coming Home Network (EWTN Program 'The Journey Home') makes his home in Zanesville.

It may be that the Catholic vote in Ohio makes all the difference. Kerry has so galvanized the Pro-Life forces against him, especially Catholics, he can't expect his CINO status to garner him many votes.

Its the ISSUES stupid!
