Thanks for the PING and I am looking forward to read more about your great experience today. NEVER miss a chance to meet George W. Bush - NEVER.
awesome pics, Mayor! What a turn out.
Here is the first pic of the protesters
I'm going to drive 8 miles to see W on Monday. I was 10th in line to get the blue tickets. Labor Day with GW and the Cardinals with the best record in baseball is a dream come true!
I heard the president greeted Rick Santorum far more welcomingly and warmly than he did Specter.
They had guts, that's all I can say.
After the Rally we (17,000+) were walking up a hill and at the top were a small group of proterters.
A couple of them wearing black scarves over their faces
They were yelling..
2 more months, 2 more months..
I have never been one to keep quiet so in as loud of a voice as I could gather I yelled out..
Four more years! Four more years! Four more years! Four more years!
The crowd joined in..
Awesome pictures. Thank you. The President looks tanned and refreshed. How did he sound? People are saying that he's getting better on the stump with each speech.
I countered..
Kerry Lied Americans Died! Kerry Lied Americans Died! Kerry Lied Americans Died! Kerry Lied Americans Died!
There was a big cop looking right at me as I was yelling,
He just smiled as wide as he could, it was great!
the crowd followed suit and kept it up!
"Four more years! Four more years! Four more years! Four more years!"
Way to Go, Mayor!!
Thanks for the ping!
Get a job, get a job....
The crowd was getting louder and louder, soon the protesters were completly drowned out.
I yelled out .... you guys have a lotta guts, your out numbered 5000 to 1
I'd drive 200 again tomorrow, enjoy it.!
Ya, and so did the crowd.. he was off the stage in minutes.
Rick was there for at least 10 maybe 15 minutes.
Great speaker, he is going places..
I think he is, nothing quite like hearing him in person....
He sounded fantastic, full of enthusiam and couldn't stop smiling!
And that's exactly how it went in Erie today. And I am certain that GW got the message as he thanked Arlen (a few claps) and Rick (a standing O) for being here.........
It was fun, it really was..
I felt like a cheerleader, noboday was saying anything to them.
So, I took control of the situation : )
Love your spirit, you remind me of my brother.
Great post Mayor!
It's nice to find out what's really going on instead of being filtered by some lefty AP reporter.
The crowd was very, very enthusiastic, clapping, yelling, 4 more years..
There were also all walks of life. Elderly, wheelchairs, black, brown, Veterans galore....
What impressed me was the amount of young people there,
kids that will be voting for the first time.
Some of the cheers were deafening, it was just simply a fantastic event !!
