We attended a rally in Moosic near Scranton, PA yesterday. What posters are saying is the same as we saw there.
We, too, were both surprised and happy to see so many young people. About a dozen protesters showed up. A number of policeman stood between them and people leaving the rally. There was no engagement and whatever they said was soon drowned out with four more years. I am still saying WOW !!!
I saw the President and what a great CIC he is and love that Laura, our beautiful First Lady. First heard there were 19000 in attendance, local press are saying 10 to 12 thousand.
Big democrat majority in this area.

Thank you for your report. It is amazing how strong the support is, even in traditionally democrat areas. I don't think Kerry supporters have any enthusiasm at all. This is starting to look like a cakewalk, though I'm sure nothing will be taken for granted.

I especially liked the reaction from the Cops, they were smilin as I confronted the idiots.
There were also all walks of life. Elderly, wheelchairs, black, brown, Veterans galore....
What impressed me was the amount of young people there, kids that will be voting for the first time.
Some of the cheers were deafening, it was just simply a fantastic event !!
