THE full horror of the Russian school atrocity began to emerge yesterday as traumatised children told horrific tales of stabbed babies and brutal rapes.
It has also emerged that scores of the 323 who died - including many children - had been shot in the back.
While despairing soldiers and rescue workers moved among the growing pile of body bags, it was revealed that an 18-month-old baby had been repeatedly stabbed by a black-clad terrorist who had run out of ammunition.
Other survivors told how screaming teenage girls were dragged into rooms adjoining the gymnasium where they were being held and raped by their Chechen captors who chillingly made a video film of their appalling exploits
They said children were forced to drink their own urine and eat the petals off the flowers they had brought their teachers after nearly three days without food or water in the stifling hot gym.
Their stories came as Russian officials warned that the final death toll of the siege of Middle School No 1 at Beslan in North Ossetia - in which up to 1,200 people were held captive - was likely to be more than 400.
The official toll yesterday stood at 323 which included 156 children, 10 Russian soldiers and two emergency service workers - 35 of the hostage-takers were also killed. Last night 434 people were being treated in hospital with 247 children and 85 adults in a critical condition.
A Russian official said six seriously injured children had been taken to Moscow for treatment.
"One of them is a child, just 18 months old, with many knife wounds," he said.

When I first saw the few naked children being let go or rescued, I knew there was at the very least sexual humiliation of those kids going on in there. Kids don't remove their own clothing in front of strangers who frighten them.

That probably wouldn't convince you these "rebels" did worse things than putting panties on heads.
After all, the MSM thinks that is worse than child rape. And shooting children in the back.

No BykrBayb, parts of the Old testamant do say God ordered genocides of people who worshipped false Gods, including women and children. If you want passages, I will dig them up for you, but those who read the bible know they are there. What I am clearly saying is that there are people who can take these passages, and some say God inspired atrocities, and use it to say the bible is evil and not about peace.
I know different.
Old Beavis and Butthead episodes make me laugh till I cry. I know it's adolescent boy humor but oh well hehehe. Otherwise I've taken up walking and replaying Charles Stanley programs. That way my escape is constructive at the same time.

Somebody needs to read the riot act to the state department if it hasn't already been done.
It is time for Chechnya to feel the wrath of God. And by "wrath of God" I meant to say 3 Soviet tactical nuclear weapons.
The reports from the hostages themselves said the hostages removed their own clothes because where they were being held was ubearably hot, and they were allowed little, and later no, water.

The media should be ashamed for not bringing this to the world's attention. Like I said, I can remember reading literature on this from missionaries years ago.

Each new news article is more horrific than the previous, I know I've said it before, but this, this is just the most depravity I've heard yet on it. I cringe with each new story. The world should be appalled, but it's clear from these many threads that most of us have heard so-called humans attempt to explain or excuse the behaviors of these terrorist animals. My prayers and condolences go out to the victims and survivors and their families.
Dear God, please provide the strength of your Holy Spirit to the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunt and uncles, neighbors and friends, of all those in the town that was visited by agents of evil. Help them to temper their hurt, with the realization that for all of us, life is temporarary, and temporal. That justice on earth is imperfect, but justice in heaven is perfect. Give the survivors strenght to fight evil, and to overcome grief. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
