using the Crusades as justification or rationalization for what muslim terrorists are perpetrating today is beyond ridiculous.
The problem between muslims and christians and jews is much older than the Crusades, so I don't think that is it really either.
Absolutely right. How can anyone alive today even know what side their relatives were on in such an affair anyway? Most folks can trace there roots, most can not trace them back that far. Using crusades as some justification is nothing more than an excuse to justify evil being visited today--plain and simple. Absolutely EVERYONE could behave more Christlike, butnot doing so does not justify barrelling into a school and murdering and raping children.
We're learning the real reason behind the Crusades --- politically correct revisionists of history lied to us about the Crusades --- they were about Europe defending it's children against these savages.
