I'm afraid I thought the fact that the children were naked was chilling. People don't take their clothes off because they are hot.
YOu have a good point, especially with orthodox Christians. I don't think all the children were raped, but I do believe their clothes were removed to humiliate them and to make them less human in the eyes of their captors.
In the past couple of days there was a news article which said the terrorists ripped off the clothes of young girls, soaked them in water, then gave to to people to wring the water out to drink.
I could guess where it went from there.
It was --- we all knew -- deep down at least -- why these children were naked. It's just like the 9-11 terrorists going to a stripper bar the evening before --- violence, blood and sexual lust go together in these Muslims.
