The government in Khartoum imposed Islamic law nearly 10 years ago, and forced conversions (with accompanying genital mutilation) are common.
From Christianity Today --- whatever Arabs would do to an African, they would do to a European, an Asian, or an American. They are doing this in the name of Allah and it's the same wherever they go.
