I'm a Lutheran, but I can post this traditional Orthodox liturgical hymn (or troparion) without changing it, since it fits so well in this situation, with the Russian (and North Ossetian) people under attack as Orthodox Christians. Orthodox Christians--especially Serbs and Russians--are, like Jews, the islamists' "favorite" targets. However, as we all know, Americans of any faith or of none have become targets as well.
Especially as an Evangelical Orthodox Lutheran, if I merely change "Orthodox" to "orthodox", it applies to me as well. I hope that it then applies to you, too.
OK, my friend. Got ya. Have you donated to them yet? I did. Going to get my friends to do the same if I can.
Relief for the innocent victims
God bless our Russian brothers and sisters. I have hoped for so long that we would be more united since the fall of the Soviet Union. Clintoilet hurt that cause so much, but, perhaps this will bring us together. So I pray.
Dominus vobiscum,
Jesse
