Many Russian Jews immigrated to Israel during the collapse. It wouldn't suprise me that Israel and Russia will be cooperating on security measures. Arab states use Russia for weapons. Not much more.
I don't think that Russia would EVER really get into an agreement with Israel. Too big a history of anti-semitism.
