SLAUGHTER OF THE INNOCENTS: RUSSIA BLAMES BLOODBATH ON AL-QAEDA
Daily Record ^ | 9/0604 | Jon Kelly

Posted on 09/06/2004 4:45:27 AM PDT by kattracks

RUSSIAN security sources yesterday claimed al-Qaeda masterminded the Beslan bloodbath, using 'puppet' Chechen rebels.

They pointed the finger of blame at shadowy al-Qaeda financial chief Abu Omar as-Seyf and Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev.

Sergei Markov, an analyst close to the Kremlin, said: 'This is the beginning of a new political-military force joining forces against Russia.

'It is unclear exactly what the force is, but people like Basayev are merely its puppets.'

As-Seyf, an Islamic extremist, is a top-ranking al-Qaeda fanatic who intelligence sources believe is Osama bin Laden's man in Chechnya. He is in charge of channelling millions of pounds from the Arab world to rebels in the republic.

He is also thought to be a member of al-Qaeda's high council, the Shura.

Russia's Federal Security Service suspect him of being behind the recent downing of two passenger planes by Chechen separatists.

Warlord Basayev was responsible for the Moscow theatre siege in 2002, when 42 of his terrorists took 800 hostages - 129 of whom died. From his woodland hideout, he has sent out waves of suicide bombers.

Russian officials claimed several of the hostage-takers at Beslan were from Arab countries, but have yet to back that up with evidence.

Welcome to the real world, folks. There is an insidious global cancer growing. Who is going to have the courage to stand with us and stop it in its tracks?

If Putin's response involves a massive reprisal in Chechnya, I think I'm going to praise him for it. If it goes beyond Chechnya and involves other areas which have been known to harbor terrorists, or represent their highest aspirations, I'll also welcome that.

I'm sorry. This is total war. If he doesn't, it's going to leave me uneasy about what else Russia will tolerate. And it will leave me uneasy about what we will tolerate ourselves.

Take the kid gloves off, Mr. Putin. Make the Islamic would sit up and remember. Give them something they'll never forget.

How dare anyone blame Moslems!

It was a coalition. A group of Irish conspired with old Swedish women who like to knit.

Throw in a few Peruvians.

The whole WORLD better start seeing a pattern here.

One reporter on an alphabet soup news report said that the Iron Putin might have to bend due to the problem of there being no further means of response.

I shuddered to think that it could even remotely have a chance of being true.

I have heard stories about what the Russians are capable of. They are not hindered by leberal media and politically correct courts.

One had to do with some type of terrorist/kidnapper type.

The story has something to do with one of the fellows blood relatives, a room in the Kremlin, some good old fashioned wood screws, and this guys relatives family jewels.

But I think the world has to recognize this little feud between the Moslems and everybody else has been going on for about 1300 years, and it's getting a little old.

I shudder to think what might happen.

And I have shed tears for the good folks over there who lost all those innocent children.

Russian officials claimed several of the hostage-takers at Beslan were from Arab countries, but have yet to back that up with evidence.

On the Russian news sites there are pics from the video of terrorist bodies they ran on TV. One in particular looks Jordanian. The two I can see well are definitely not chechen in appearance.

The liberal media just hates to admit that Putin has been correct on this all along, because it means Bush is right too. The liberals want to cling to their old vision of chechen freedom fighters rebeling against a punitive and overbearing (ex-KGB) Putin/Russia.

If they had half a brain they would recall that not only was Khattab Jordanian, but the BBC reported that OBL paid millions to the chechens some 8-10 years ago to behead those 4 poor Brits/New Zealander workers who were about to be released.

Chechnya has long been financed by wahabi empire builders outside the country, and it is no surprise that arabs were found to be part of this monstrous killing of children.

Personally I think Putin is using Al Quaeda to take the pressure off him. Oh!!! I think Al Quaeda had a hand in this allright I just dont fathom they were the planners.

There is no doubt the rest of the world is slow waking up to the fact that the United States and George Bush were right all along in our fight against terror,Its time the world came to join us in this fight and stop their attack on our economy and our culture.

Another example of how wrong John Kerry and the Democrats are in their assessment of this war on terror and the real need to re-elect George W Bush.

It is time to end is-slime. I have spoken of is-slime being like a cancer; perhaps it would be better to view it as a virus that transforms individuals into monsters.

Does one negotiate with polio? Does one compromise with smallpox? Should we adopt a live-and-let-live approach to bubonic plague? No - we eradicated these diseases. As with these, so too with is-slime.
