Nothing is planned. There are no talking points to fight back.

What is going on is the awareness that the Old Media's long black night of power and endless deceit is OVER. We are mad as "Zell" and we are not going to take it anymore!!!

The truth and 650 thousand trumps lies and 65 million dollars. The socialists can't understand why this can happen. Their entire problem solving consists at throwing money at the problem and when it doesn't help throw more money at it.

I think Michelle Malkin was our lovely sacrificial lamb. She's tough as nails and every bit as smart as their best. We'll always remember the alabaster serenity of her quiet self-determination. They went too far with her, and the backlash is still coming.

Time will tell regarding any GOP fierceness in rebutting demonrat lies, but we can hope. The GOP has fumbled the ball too many times to get too excited.

We really ought to be calling Matthews about his lie that Malkin claimed that Kerry shot himself with his own weapon. Malkin never said that. Matthews is the only one who said anything about Kerry shooting himself.

Malkin accurately quoted Unfit for Command allegations that Kerry's wounds were self-inflicted, but Matthews would not let Malkin say so.

"Slap 'em when they preface a question with some insult to conservatives."

Alan Colmes is a great practitioner of this tactic and needs to be confronted on it.

It appears to me that, after the Malkin ambush, Rove and company decided it was time to smash the media's biased concept of conservatives. I believe the talking points must have gone out...don't take it anymore.

Long overdue - and not a moment to lose. This message also goes for the average conservative conversationalist at the watercooler. You will never get points for conceding anything you believe to a liberal. Liberals are intellectually dishonest - and have a brazenly overt attitude of "Whatever we do or say is justified - because our cause is just, and anything goes to get enough power to cram it down people's throats."

When you finally rise to their numerous glove slaps - and tell it like it is - you have the advantage. Because their positions are based on demonstrable lies and wilfull ignorance of truths unhelpful to their manifesto. It is cathartic to say to a liberal - "The fact that you and the MSM choose to ignore XYZ does not mean it didn't happen. And just because the MSM says something is true or false - does not mean it is. I do not accept your versions of events nor your spin - we stand or fall on the facts...and so will you, Kerry and the house of cheating cards your cause is based on."

Be prepared for a lot of screaming on their part, though. Because like spoiled brats - they seek to defeat all reason by going nuclear.

And here, I put in a good word
for Speaker Denny Hastert. People,
do not discount him. I watched a
few of his recent interviews. This
man doesn't let the Lefty Media
get away with their trash. Yet he
does not sink to their level. He
reminds me of a burly, tough-as-
nails, TEDDY BEAR!

LOL...

Good morning! I didn't see the show you're talking about, but what I did see this morning on C-SPAN-book was a panel of lefty journalists and their fabricated books. This panel got together on Thursday at NYU and it was a Bush bashing tirade with a standing ovation (at the end). I could only take about 5 minutes. They plugged their website NewDemocracyProject.org. (a/k/a bring Bush down no matter what). Conservative journalists MUST be aggressive in uncovering the nuances and falsity in the libs statements. As you know, it isn't easy. The pundits are in overdrive, it's plain to see. I mean they're still talking about Bush's National Guard records. What are we to do? Keep working, working hard to get to the truth of the matter. In particular, why isn't the press demanding that John Kerry release ALL of his military records? As someone suggested yesterday, write letters to your local newspaper, and politicians demanding the release of Kerry's records. This is no time to enjoy the bounce, but to work even harder to keep W in the White House for the sake of our entire nation. John Kerry is a creep, we all know it. God Bless W and our Troops!

An old complaint about conservatives is that they do not fight as dirty as the DemocRats. Conservatives would rather let facts speak and avoid guttural mudslinging. The problem, of course, is that unless one is teflon, mud sticks and elections are lost. When 9/11 occurred many of us resolved that enough was enough. Conservatives in particular and Republicans in general knew that the nation could no longer tolerate surrender to liberal tactics. We had to get in their faces when they used smears and lies to hide the truth about contemporary blame-America-first liberalism.

That is one part of what we are witnessing now in this campaign. Persons of principle (conservatives) are not sitting still for liberal deceptions. They are shouting back, shoving facts up for scrutiny rather than politely trying to let them speak for themselves.

Part two is that the truth indeed does trump $60 million hate campaigns. But something else plays an important part in this, and that is New Media. Talk radio, cable news, and the blogospheric Internet are letting the truth shine as never before. The facts are more readily available to many more people. Many more people are offering support to those in the arena with ruthless libs who have spewed lies for so long they no longer know what the truth is (a particularly pathological example of this is John Kerry himself).

And then there is Karl Rove. If one took Evil Incarnate James Carville and stripped EIJC of evil, added scruples and consistency, one would approach the intelligent resolution of Karl Rove.

It is an exciting time.

It's time to do EVERYTHING humanly possible to break the back of the corrupt, socialist, "mainstream" media. These Marxist Socialist front groups have got to be stopped.

Here is what I propose:

1. Get lists of their advertisers and complain about the media Bush hate, manipulation, and deceit campaign.
2. Distribute the contact information for various advertiseers so that all FREEPERS can begin to complain.
3. Use the language of the lefty loonies against them. Note that the media is using hate, manipulation, and deceit against the president and their advertisements are supporting it.
4. Start sending complaints to the Boards of Directors at the parent holding companies. (you can find them here http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/srch-edgar )
5. Start finding other boards that many of the media directors sit on and beging a campaign to THOSE companies of that board member's support of the hate, manipulation, and deception against he president.

If we get on the stick with this, and are persistent, the "old media" can finally be crushed within the months leading up to the campaign. If anyone thinks for 2 seconds that this media is not going to pull out all the stops to ratchet up the anti-Bush hate and deception campaign coming up to this election, you've got another thing coming.

Bill

Hey, who the hell did Franken get into it with? Remember the picture of him standing, pointing his little finger at supposedly some radio producer? What show was the producer from? Any other details?

This is new to me. Did anyone else notice it?

I missed Laura Ingraham, but I saw Zell go after Chrissy. If your hypothesis is true, all I can say is, it's about frickin' time!

The conservatives have always come across as a bit too timid to me. Always better to play offense, rather than defense.

Yes but will they keep it up?

There will be no shortage of opportunities in the upcoming days.

The leftists in the MSM need to be put on notice.

Their time is over.

This election is their last battlefield.

Aside from the Malkin episode the media treatment of Bush vs. Kerry on the military is becoming a national joke/outrage.

The media will be throwing all sorts of garbage on Bush in the next 2 months, and it will be interesting to see if the people see these media attacks as further reason to rally TO Bush. Bush and Rove could subtly ridicule the media as Kerry's running mate to drag them down with Kerry's reputation. The media will have some hard choices ahead if the numbers hold and this is really a Bush country. They, like the French will have a choice between ideological purity and public support ($$).
