Republicans are now "Socialists"?

Anyone who supports social security, the graduated income tax, medicare, federal involvement in education, BRAND NEW prescription entitlements, etc, etc,,,,,,,is a socialist. Can you think of any?

You're being " blackmailed"?

Not I. People who buy into the childish scare tactics of "vote for Republicans or we are toast" comments election after election is being blackmailed.

Stay home, smoke your pot or shoot up or snort,or ingest whatever illegal junk is your choice

Grow up. I've never used an illegal drug in my life,,can you say the same thing?

you're a Conservative.

I have never claimed that. It would be silly. I'm not a conservative.

Or perhaps you recall the career-ending elections of Wyche Fowler and Slade Gorton - both tossed out on their big-government asses by very small fractions of the vote taken by the Libertarian candidate.

And were replaced by bigger government Max Cleland and Maria Cantwell. Good going guys. Way to go from the frying pan into the fire.

I can't believe you brag about electing Democrats.

And that half would be very angry with the 2 percent who voted Libertarian for no good reason at all.

2 percent, you are much too generous. Harry Browne, the LP candidate in 2000, got .36%

HA! You aren't a Conservative. This IS a Conservative forum.Ergo,YOU do NOT belong here.

I have NEVER,in my entire life, indulged in/tried/used any illegal substances, nor have I misused legal ones, and no,I don't drink alcoholic beverages much..if at all.I am also decaffinated. Wanna try another tactic? :-)

There are two and ONLY two political parties, whose candidates have the chance of winning any election.Because we do NOT have a parliamentary system,a vote for any fringe candidate is wasted/irrelevant/worthless/bereft of any value at all. That is a fact of life.It is NOT going to change in your lifetime;if ever.

Social Security was started by a Dem and until THIS president, was the THIRD RAIL of politics, which nobody dared to even talk about...except Barry Goldwater and fat lot of good his talking about just stopping it completely, did him.

Ditto for the graduated income tax, except that Goldwater had nothing to say about it,Reagan and Bush lowered it ( so did Kennedy)and this president Bush wants to get rid of even MORE of it and the death taxes, etc.!

Dems did medicare.

Since the federal government does NOT (though they should!)set the standards for schools,it isn't as socialistic as you claim. And doing away with all public education,is NOT a good thing at all.Correcting the problems would be a good thing, though. :-)

I can hear it now.......the "YOU'RE AN AUTHORITARIAN!" cry,as though that were an invective. YOU are the "authoritarian" here;believing that you and ONLY you know what's best and how things should be. LOL

tsk,tsk,tsk..........unlike YOU,I AM a grownup,fear. :-)

I apologize. If someone who would normally vote for Kerry is voting for Badnarik, then of course, it wouldn't be helping Kerry. I just haven't heard of that many Democrats supporting him.
Do you think it is nonsense to say that a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush? Because as a Bush supporter, I'm even going to admit that that is true.

Ooooh, a Presidential candidate speaking! Will there be hordes of security personnel pushing back the thousands of people who'll want to shake his hand after listening to one of his blame-America speeches? LOLOLOLOL...

Badnarik is a joke just like the Losertarian Party.

The Libertarians cannot win national or state elections. The only elections you losers can win is town water board or obscure city council slots. Get over it. Your party's a joke and Badnarik's percentage of the popular vote will be less than one-thousandth of one percent.

You're going to vote for a man who didn't file taxes for several years UNTIL he had gotten the LP nomination?

I wish I had the courage of conviction not to file.

I prefer my candidates to be law-abiding.

You would have made a good Soviet citizen.

The Libertarian Party is a party of cowardice. It opposes the war on terrorism and any war against those who would harm the United States.

It takes courage to retaliate only against those individuals responsible for terrorism, and not use 9/11 as an excuse to bully the world.

Yeah. Let's put Osama binLaden in handcuffs.

As I said, the Libertarian Party is the party of cowardice, whose members think the war on terror ought to be fought in a courtroom.

No thanks. I want to live.

I'm sorry, but in this country we abide by the laws. If you don't like a law, you work to change it. If he had such strong convictions, he wouldn't have filed them after he got the nominations, would he?

than one-thousandth of one percent.

Then what's the problem? If they are so irrelevant,,move along,,,nothing to see here.

You see, you folks can't have it both ways without being ridiculous. Either it harms your party's chances to have libertarian minded Americans voting for Libertarian candidates, or it doesn't. It's simple.

All your little marching buddies here are in full hissy fit mode. Just read all the comedy above if you don't get it. LOL

Wasted vote. No how much I might agree with this candidate, he cannot win election. So I must choose between the two candidates who can win, otherwise my vote is wasted, unless voting in a state where Kerry or Bush have a huge lead.

Only a good little coolade drinker could try to say that socialistic and unconstitutional federal government programs are good.

Congratulations,,,and welcome to the Democratic party! Home of the socialists,,and their partners in crime, the Republican socialists.

BTW, I tried no tactic on you in regards to drug usage, you made the childish charge that I used them, I merely denied it and asked you if you could say the same.
