Michael Badnarik, Libertarian Presidential candidate will be speaking at the downtown Colorado Springs, Pioneer Museum. September 7th, A Rally will be held starting at 6 PM.
Anyone who votes Libertarian or Constitution Party this
year is blind to the horrible implications of a Kerry victory.
Their candidates deserve to speak to empty rooms, matching their empty heads.
Oh, but in 2008 you'll consider voting LP or CP?
Not!
Every year the major parties bleat: "This election is too important to lose." "This will be the most important election in your lifetime." "Maybe four years from now we should consider third parties, but not is not the time."
Every election is supposed to be a crisis. A turning point. The make or break year. The last chance to save our freedom, yada, yada, yada.
The major parties have cried wolf enough. No matter whether the Dems or GOP wins, things stay the same.
I'm voting for Badnarik.
Complete crap. But the sheeple, mostly, buy it. So far.
You call yourself "commie basher."
But Reagan was the most effective commie basher of all.
It wasn't whoever the Libertarians or the American Party
nominated in 1980 who brought down the Evil Empire. It was a ... Republican. One who five years earlier had specifically rejected the idea of giving up on the GOP after his defeat by Gerald Ford. Reagan could have gotten millions of votes in 1976 as a third-party candidate. But he chose not to.
How would you feel, how would we all feel, and how would the former slaves of the communist empire feel, if a right-wing spoiler had delivered the 1980 election to Jimmy Carter.
HUH, "Commie Basher"????????????
How about the freedom for anyone, or any group, to speak out freely less than 61 days before an election, without worrying about Big Stupid Government suppressing their free speech?
Bush squished that one flat.
You really think this one isn't at least one of the most important?
Have any of our brilliant Libertarian friends in Colorado
written in to tell us how Mr. Bumbledick's rally went?
Were there more than a dozen people? Did they themselves attend?
That's not something YOU,personally,have lost and it's 60 days...but thanks for playing. :-)
I dunno.
It was the "most important" in '92, because Bush Sr. had "defeated" Saddam Hussein. Temporarily, it appears.
It was the "most important" in '96, because Clinton was a democRat sleaze. So the Rs propped up OldBob Dole, the man who said his proudest achievements were Food Stamps and the ADA.
It was the "most important" in '00, because, well . . . . just because.
We'll survive the '04 election too, I suspect, no matter how much spin, hype and crap we hear from the two Big Stupid Government parties.
God.
So what flavor KoolAid do you drink? And when your ox gets gored, are you going to switch to buffalo?
I never thought '92 and '96 were the "most important."
If you don't understand the stakes of the war on terror and the differences between the candidates, why don't you go to some jackoff Libertarian site and let us more rational types alone.
Are they serving Kool-Aid?
Since the SBVs,for example, even though they are a 527,have raised what is considered to be HARD MONEY,will be allowed to run ads against Kerry, with the CFR passed. So too, will those 527s who have raised HARD MONEYbe able to run ads against President Bush.So not all that much has really changed.
And as far as Kool-Aid is concerned,Hank, you've drunk enough for all of us...just a different flavor. :-)
Or perhaps you recall the career-ending elections of Wyche Fowler and Slade Gorton - both tossed out on their big-government asses by very small fractions of the vote taken by the Libertarian candidate.
Scared of a little pressure on the Big Stupid Government parties?
Good.
You deserve Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell.
My kinda politicians.
What did the elections of two Democratic senators accomplish?
If you could show us ANY evidence of Republicans moving
to the right because they're scared of Libertarians,
or indeed because Libertarians have cost them seats,
please do it now.
Otherwise, give this tired line about "teaching 'em a lesson" a rest. A very long rest. Six feet under.
There you go! Regards.
You first. Give the "most important election of our lifetime" nonsense a rest.
