Yep, only an immature child would think otherwise, hence the AP story.

This was one of three mis-speaks noted inthis AM WashPo. Seems to be a trend here.

Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country.

After wishing Clinton a speedy recovery, Bush was thinking...

Too many former presidents aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country.

In context, it's obvious that "love" refers to the practice of their chosen speciality in the medical profession.

You are right and exactly what his statement conveyed to me at the time.

"...Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." I dare say many OB/GYNs practice out of love for women. Heaven knows it can't be a profit motive, given that they are the most lawsuit-prone specialty in all of medicine. Many have given up the specialty altogether. I would gather that those who remain do so out of a sense of responsibility and caring for the women they serve.

This is how it should be, of course.

Anyone who has spoken in public knows how easy it is to flub a line. In the end it makes Bush look more human.

The difference between Bush and Kerry saying something like this is that Bush would simply laugh it off if you pointed it out to him--Kerry would try to blame somebody else for his mistake. You can tell volumes about a person by how seriously they take themselves.

I have always suspected that my wife's OB/GYN was practicing his love with my woman a little too often.

Now I have proof!! Even the president of the United States has intel on this!

Assuming that AP got this story right, it just shows what a Warm , Wonderful, Human, Funny, and Interesting president we have.........unlike that Stiff that's running against him! I'll bet even Laura would get a chuckle out of this.

Have you been following any of Kerry's rants speeches?

He misspeaks more than Bush.

What does it all mean, do you think?

This reminds me of Frank Rich and his phallic-obsessive screed 2 days ago. The prurient Left is at it again. They have never gone beyond kindergarten in their retarded sexual perversions.

"Anyone who hates this man is not worthy of associating with."

At a family Labor Day picnic yesterday I said I'd been listening to Sean Hannity on the radio with callers who were voting for sKerry. NONE of them knew why, except that they'd been told President is bad. Some could not even give his NAME (one guessed "Jim Keeney"), few knew he was a Senator and none could name anything he has done to deserve their vote. They just had their hate rhetoric they'd been fed.

My dad, a university professor, said he wholeheartedly agrees with dumbed-down "Anyone-But-Bush" dogma that dominates most college campuses right now. Referring to the Bush Administration, he said he believes "these people are evil". (Meanwhile any semblance of "faith" that demonstrates anything other than elevation of man as the ultimate authority is about as existent in his life as in sKerry's.)

I pointed out to him that the Bible clearly states that the time will come when "evil is called good and good evil".

Like sKerry, any faith my dad claims is self-deception, public-deception or both.
