Thanks. I remembered that Redd's son called her his 'aunt'.
I must admit that, all joking aside, I had real difficulty understanding what he was saying during much of the interview.
Wow! Watching CNN, Judy W., and Jesse J. for us...you ARE a glutton for punishment, aren't you?
LOL! Thank you so much...
I've been arrested by the man!
It's a big tent, but it aint that big.
Poor old has-been-that-never-really-was-anything-but-a-self-aggrandizing-fraud Jesse.
Doesn't he know by now that he is a tool of the system, and he needs to know his place?
With a little help from Nexium, I can handle them all. But I must say that I draw the line at Paul Begala. With his totally unrestrained-by-the-truth-or-decency barbs, he sends my blood pressure soaring. I literally can't stand him.
LOL
"I noticed during the dim convention that blacks were huddled together in groups (segregated) while at the RNC they were individuals scattered thru the crowd."
The big difference was the fact that the democrat delegates were selected using a quota system. Read the official rules for becoming a delegate to the democrat convention that establishes a quota system for women and minorities. For example, exactly half the democrat delegats must be women.
There's some interesting information in this article in the New Yorker:
"...afterward, (Gore's) circle, such as it was, fractured and went its own way. Unlike Clinton, who could draw on a huge pool of friends for advice, Gore lacked the gift, or the patience, for showing gratitude, for keeping in close touch. Donna Brazile complained that she had never got so much as a thank-you note for her service in 2000, and many who had worked for Gore or who had given serious money to the campaign felt the same. He treated people poorly, Robert Bauer, one of Gores aides during the Florida battle, said. He was cold, aloof, condescending, ungrateful. There were legendary stories about how he treated people with a lack of gratitude. There is a strange character in Gore. . . . He is an isolated man.
"But I must say that I draw the line at Paul Begala."
My line stops with Carville. How he and Mary Matalin ever managed to co-conceive two little girls is beyond me.
Now Jesse has seen Kerry and easily concluded that he has the backbone of ramen noodles. He's just doing his song and dance until Kerry coughs up some dough. Next week he'll dismiss his statements and say that he's "strongly" behind Kerry.
Jesse and his cronies didn't get their 'walking-around' money, huh?
As pathetic as that is, I have to believe that it boils down to that. If Jackson really cared about Kerry's prospects, he wouldn't go on national TV to attack Kerry. The only reason for his very calculated move is to put pressure on Kerry to make a deal with Jackson.
Bump and thanks!
Black educators are crossing over.
