To: Political Junkie Too
You could take this as a slam against either man, Bush or Kerry. Since Bush did have a old DWI complaint that made most think it was a slam on Bush. I don't think that at this point most people are undecided about Bush and they feel strongly one way or the other. While slander and satire are useful political tools, used by both sides, I think the election comes down to party loyalty and your opinion of a few key issues. For example if you feel that the invasion of Iraq was justified and handled well, then you should have no problems with Bush. If you feel that the cause of the economic slow down was due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, then you should have no problem with Bush. If you do not believe the above then you would conclude that the executive that you hired four years ago is incompetent.

But the point of the bit is to ask whether you're willing to replace the man in the job with someone who won't discuss his work history except for a job he once held 35 years ago.
