CNN ^

Posted on 09/07/2004 6:28:25 PM PDT by Spackidagoosh

KERRY: "Today marks a tragic milestone in the war in Iraq. More than 1,000 of America's sons and daughters have now given their lives on behalf of their country, on behalf of freedom in the war on terror. I think that the first thing that every American wants to say today is how deeply we each feel the loss."

I wonder what his October position will be.

he couldn't be in favor of death, so he had to be in favor of iraq right that moment; he can change it around tomorrow. I'm beginning to get hang of the "Kerry Calculus".

I wonder which Kerry will win this ongoing debate against himself.

"War On Terror" - isn't that the thing Kerry said was based on an exaggerated threat and largely a matter for the police and courts?

Dittos to Airborne Leghorn: excellent catch.

However, Kerry will be coming out with a clarification tomorrow, explaining that he when he called the war in Iraq part of the war on terror, he didn't mean to call the war in Iraq part of the war on terror. Clear?

Was Kerry for the war before he was against it, or was he against the war before he was for it?

If you want to know what Kerry is for, just wait until the next day from which he says he is against it.....no wonder his wife wants her dead husband back...every other day, Kerry says he wants his first rich-skirt back...

Kerry.."Don't listen to what I said then.. Listen to what I said now.. We must move forward, not backward... backward, not forward, and always spinning, spinning around and around..." I'll explain the reference if anyone doesn't get it...

... on behalf of freedom in the war on terror.

John Kerry has acknowledged that Bush is pursuing freedom in Bush's war on terror.

Kerry still has wiggle room to disparage & distance himself from Bush's war on terror, just as the Leftist Partisan Press did in their dispatches form Russia when they eschewed the label terrorist whilst describing the Militant Islamists engaged in terrorism.

Let's see a couple of weeks ago Kerry said he would have supported the war on Iraq knowing what he now knows, then yesterday he said it was the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time, and TODAY he says the war in Iraq is part of the war on terrorism. Just how many SWITCHEROOS does this guy go thru?

Somebody needs to forward this to Rush so he can play all the conflicting Kerry soundbites together.

"I wonder what his October position will be."

Ummm...It will probably involve his ankles and some sort of grabbing motion.

Just a guess.
