I have done all within my power to avoid L. Ron Hubbard and his "teachings".
Therefore, I cannot comment on the veracity of your observation.
However, if you claim that L. Ron and Muhammad have acted in a similar manner, I have no reason to dispute you.

Basically Muhammed is an early day version of L. Ron Hubbard.
Years ago, when I was young and actively into karate, I foolishly went to the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
( never again!)
I was accosted by a Hubbard zombie, who tried to shove literature into my hand and shake me down for a donation.
I told her, "Thanks, but no thanks, I don't do cults!" and tried to move on.
Silly bint actually LAID HANDS on me and told me that i had a bad attitude, was hostile, and that I would suffer for it.
I smacked her hard, disengaged, and asked her if that was supposed to be a curse or a threat or just what?
And I offered to kick her butt.
( I wasn't in a hurry, and I was young and aggressive)
She must have believed me, because she and her buddies ran.
