Makes it important that we see the after action report on the sampan incident .
Worth repeating.
This afternoon at the Beverly Hills Hotel luncheon, O'Neill joked about the Navy telling Kerry: Well, John, a human being can only do so much. It's time for you to go home.
Patterson said it won't fly.
Hey doug, must be a lot of FReepers on tonight. I listen to Al online most nights, and this is the first time his server has been bogged down!
Thanks for letting all know that these two were on. I couldn't attend the Wednesday Morning Lunch in Beverly Hills today, wish I could have gone, O'neill was there talking for an hour and signiong books, along with Paterson.
Patterson says Bush volunteered to go to Vietnam.
O'Neill --- unless Kerry goes off and hides in Cambodia, he is going to have to answer questions. The press might not do it, but the American people will require it.
O'Neill --- he didn't grow and change.
Bush never said his fellow national guardsmen were a bunch of Genghis Khan mutilators and baby killers. We don't need Kerry's after action reports to know what Kerry's true after actions were. We can all see the real Kerry.
O'Neil: Unless John Kerry hides in Cambodia he is going to have to answer these charges . . .We're coming with our ads . . .(About the Dick Cavett Show) Please look at that. His handlers hadn't gotten to him . . .says more than any words . . . (now)his dark view of the world was that we couldn't compete against communism . . . he threatened 20 stations . . .thinks people are stupid . . . (about a future apology) the proper time would have been 35 years ago, no sincerity.
Al asks John if he would accept apology. If he apology, it would be accepted. But now, it is about fitness to be commander in chief. The apology should have come 30 years ago.
Patterson thinks he should apologize for his time in the Senate.
Yes, 35 years ago. Doh. I put 30.
Kerry met directly with our enemy. He betrayed those he served with.
O'Neill cannot forgive Fonda. 4 million people died over there.
O'Neil: Kerry said the guys in the field were criminals . . . met directly with the enemy and betrayed the same people he served with . . . for that I will never forgive him . . . we lost any mumber of people including 15 of my friends . . . cqalled the army of Genghis Khan.
BTTT!
Thanks Doug, just connected.
BTTT!
Al Rantel does a great interview.
