All of this is quite fascinating, but I don't see the relevance of it. Bush talked with his superior officer about how to fulfill his Guard duties and work on a campaign at the same time. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?

Not certain if it means anything, but on the second memo, where the address is blacked out it says "5000 Longmont #8" UNDER the blacked out area. How is this possible that the subtle shading difference would translate across multiple copiers, and then scanning to a pdf? When was it blacked out?

I was in the military for 12 years, and never saw a memo written to someone that included the address and the city in the way it was listed. What would be the point, unless it was intended as a guard mail? The address is on the southwest side of Memorial park in Houston. Certainly outside the range of guard mail.

Very odd.
