What do the World Series and a mama bear on the Pill have in common?

No Cubs.

That's only been true for the last few years. Since 1945 I believe.

Lived in Chicago 6 decades, all we hear about is pitiful flubs and their crybaby pity party. Franchise is a $100,000,000 a year National Embarrassment,on par with Jesse Jackson as in
"all talk and no performance".

Owned by the socialist Chicago Tribune, everything in the city is "Cubs". Great if you're a whiner and crybaby.

Last night the Cubs were blaming the "wind" on the loss.
I'm glad I was born and will die a White Sox fan.
This team is a national joke.

Sorry, but one wonders if a guy like LaTroy Hawkins wishes he were back where he came from:

That Santana guy is throwing the ball pretty good :)

The Cubs have much more talent than the Giants - but the Giants have a better manager. ;)

The Cubs have much more talent than the Giants. . .

They also have a tradition - of losing.

Maybe? Most every team wishes they could tank like the Red Sox are tanking right now!
