But if you ask the nimrods at the National Teachers Assoc, all is well in LA. There is no problems there.
The DUMBING DOWN of America continues on the Left Coast.

This does not surprise me in the least. Illegal aliens have no need to learn to read or write English because all their needs are met in the U.S.. They get free everything even though they broke our laws. And the ones that dropout of school after three weeks are probably children of these illegals--just following the excellent example set by their parents, after all.

My thoughts exactly. We should go to LA on Election Day and say..."Oh, you want Kerry? OK, its spelled B-U-S-H so make sure you vote next to that one."
Well, only Democrats would actually do that though.

Why should they learn to read English?
As far as they are concerned the invasion of America is proceeding on schedule and, with the help of our complicate politicos, spanish will soon be the official language of the southern tier of states and English speakers will be the illiterate ones.

I'm not shocked at that revelation. Niether are a lot of L.A. residents, apparently because they can't read the headline :-)
