Well last time there were only 8,500 VVAW members, and 10's of 1,000's of veterans, and because they stayed home these 8,500 VVAW members changed the course of our country.
Well now, O'Neil certainly was speaking up. There was a lot more in motion and at play by the time VVAW launched. The "movement" was in full blast... the weatherman, the black panthers, PLO, the "new" democrats, etc. It was culture shock beyond imagination. There were three TV channels, and if I remember correctly, basically AM radio in most cities... no FM. This time the socialist liars will be met face to face.
