Back in those days, all typing was done by secretaries, stenographers and typists. They typed their initials after the initials of the author at the end of the document. Are there such initials at the end of these documents?

Nope.
Obviously, Rather believes that this professionally typed, perfectly typed, errorlessly typed and proportionally-spaced type-set memo was typed BY the Lt Col Air Force pilot himself! No strikeouts, cross-outs, or corrections at all!
(For a memo that was written with a "Cover Your Ass" title and for a file that was never to be seen by anybody else.
Except that the USAF pilot couldn't type!
