No matter how they died, these people jumped into the arms of God, and they will never be separated from Him.
Jeff, you've got the best memorial site on the web for the 9/11 victims.
This is actually a very good article, but I found myself skipping--it's just too much. But again, the writers did an outstanding job, and this material should be written about, for reasons of historical record, and simply understanding the human suffering perpetrated by the terrorists.
btt
I am glad to read an article on this subject. It has been kept hidden for so long, but its those images I remember the most.
BTTT
Thanks sink...I intend to keep it up there as long as I live. And if any of my five kids, or growing number of grandkids, are interested (and several already are)...it'll stay up a lot longer than that.
Thank you for that site
You know, this is a good article, but it's also the NYTimes trying to write about 9/11 without helping Bush. (Though this article doesn't hurt Bush, either.) Just thought I'd point that out.
You are very welcome...it's been up there since the week of 911.
I would REALLY like to send this article to a friend who told me today she's voting for Kerry.....but, .......I better not.
great article, I could not read it all at once, had to take breaks. This should be in ALL the news papers. thanks for posting this.........oh yeah BTTT

"The most important thing I will never know," Ms. Alderman said. "I won't know how much he suffered and I won't know how he died. I travel back into that tower a lot and I try to imagine, but there is no imagining."
Why the HELL would she want to know precisely how her child suffered and then died???
The images of people jumping from the World Trade Center is very horrifying even today. I heard spmewhere between 37 to 200 jumped out of the towers. I read one of the firefighter was killed when one of the bodies landed on him. Horrible way to die.
The media should be replaying, on a regular basis, the videos of the planes hitting the towers and then of the towers collapsing.
Too many people have forgotten the visceral pain and horror of that day. (And some of us live with it on a daily basis...)
A bump in memory of all the victims.
May they rest in peace.
