It's worse than that. It's dishonest. Dan Rather knowingly told a big fat lie on national TV just to smear George Bush. Unless we are to believe that the man has an IQ of about 40, that's what he did. This was not a "mistake" on his part. He tried to pull a fast one and he got caught.
Dan Rather was the same "journalist" who was in an on air "tiff" with Bush 41. This was personal for dannyrather. He was more then ready to volunteer.
