One thought that I had watching the Republican convention was what a great line-up the RNC does have whereas the Democrats had no real stars except for Obama and Howard Dean--everyone else was so yesterday--the Clintons, algore, Sharpton, etc. Been there, done that! I probably should feel sorry for them but I used up all my compassion feeling sorry for the victims of Islamic terrorism here and abroad. Too bad--they'll just have to suck it up.

Fred Barnes said yesterday that the Weekly Standard had the FBI and other document people looking at the documents. Fred said they don't look original.
Guys, not to be a stick in the mud, but he is the Governor of a State, it is possible that something came up more important than towing the Dem's party line on some forged documents.
Just a thought.

Richardson is a decent person. IMO more of a moderate than extreme liberal; I've thought for a while now he has been embarassed by the Kerry's....

I agree with you about Richardson, he's not your typical, dem in my opinion. I recall during the UN controversy when the U.S. was kicked out of the committee to do with human relations or whatever it was, and the administration was being blamed for that, Richardson was very fair minded and did not lay the blame on the president or his administration for the way the UN was acting.

I seem to remember he said if they started trashing Bush at the Democratic convention he was going to walk out... could it be he's a Republican and just doesn't know it yet? Maybe he's another Dem they left behind like Zell Miller.
