If there are very few experts on typewriter fonts and the like, it is because so few are needed, as so many laymen understand fonts and typewriters and word processors.

And the AP story in my local paper spends most of its space repeating the negative statements against Bush, and then mentions the Killian son's slightly disparaging remarks but fails to mention the facts that show that this is definitely a forgery.
But to do that they will have to expose the entire chain of custody for the documents, plus the names of the people that CBS says saw the documents at the time they were created, plus the names of the CBS experts. Whatcha wanna bet?

Exactly. The first story on Drudge that was so critical of CBS, etc, ended with the last line saying that Karl Rove is probably behind all of this. Amazing. But I remember the Clinton's were real good at putting out that sort of thing to use against the Republicans. So the mind set is no surprize.
