Dolph Lundgren Endorses Bush! (Hilarious take on the Killian Scandal)

As we strain to read the latest headlines through tears of laughter, we are reminded why old media journalism is held in the same public regard as pedophiles and fitness club owners.

The "Rocky" of news stories, Bush's National Guard service, is out for a fourth tour of duty starring the new Brigitte Nielsen, a nice set of fake, memos which show once and for all that Bush is unfit for the presidency because he failed to properly clean a toilet stall or something on the last day of his Texas Guardship in 1972.

Poor, dumb Dan Rather and CBS must not be aware of this Internet-thingy yet where stories get added up in less time than it takes Lenscrafters to make the pair of simple bifocals one would need to research that Microsoft Word fonts weren't yet available on state government-issued IBM Selectrics in 1972.

Hell, I'm even doing a retrospective on this scandal faster than it used to take people in the old days (1998) to uncover it.

To the think tankers in the media, one Swift Boat Veteran forgetting the name of Kerry's dog is grounds for dismissal, but not one of them questions the use of memos from a guy 20 years dead, about an issue 10 years deader, typed with software 25 years in the future!

Beyond desperate, isn't this illegal? Can't someone responsible for this fraud go to jail for forging military memos? Maybe it's moot. You can't put an ideology behind bars.

The keynote of this year's campaign is not the sclerosis of the Kerry campaign which started in 1971 and acheived rigor mortis when Howard Dean screamed, but the self-imposed exile of TV and newspaper credibility. Justice served.

Excellent! I'm still wondering when the DC Watchgroup will file a lawsuit over this.

"a set of bodacious memos"

My sister had those, but in later years, they began to sag.

We can KNOW that the documents were forgeries without being able to legally prove it. After all, our contention is that there was no equipment X available during 1972 which could have produced the tendered documents.

In the arena of public opinion we can prevail with this argument. However, in a legal case, assuming we could find a party with "standing" who could/would bring a suit, one cannot win by throwing the burden of proof on the other party. CBS cannot be made to produce the machine which could have produced the document. At lease from a font and style issue, I suspect CBS is immune.

I am not a lawyer and I could be totally wrong about the legal issues.

Legions of Fans??? I just remember him as the commie from Rocky IV.

He played The Punisher in the 1989 movie (not the recently released version). The 1989 film with Dolph was much better.

Lundgren was a world champion kick boxer and had a Masters in Chemical Engineering before he made Rocky IV.

I wouldn't doubt he supports Bush, He's smart, tough man.
