Thanks for doing this. I was just thinking it would be a good idea, but had no clue how to accumulate all the reasons.

Not true about Times New Roman. Last night Southack posted something that showed that Times New Roman was available on the 1972 IBM Executive, a high end typewriter.

24. Subject matter bizarre Proof positive the forger was someone from DU.

Need to correct (drop) your item 21 - I looked at all the GWB records released and in a couple of instances the PO Box 34567 does appear on official documents

Let me repeat my post from earlier on this:
CBS has already released a statement that the documents were so xeroxed and fixed were "difficult" to examine. This is incredible.
What they are trying to cover up is that the experts are now looking at pixel area and pattern.
That is a photo from the MSNBC website.
CBS knows that if the experts can determine the forgery, they will try to hide behind the fact that the documents were "copied and faxed too many times."
The forgers copied them 20 times to make them look old. I can make my last month electric bill look old by putting it through the copier 4 times.
CBS will try to hide behind the criminality of their own forgery.

Great idea. I'm glad to see it all in one place.

But, But, But,....
I heard Dan on the radio at 9 Eastern say that he had a response to #46 (the "th" thing). Y'know he found a "th" on an old Courier document that looked compressed. So there!
So your other 47 stinking objections don't count, OK?
To: SkyPilot
It would be nice if someone posted this list on a website and kept it up to date for reference.

Don't give Rather any straw men to knock down:
> Box 34567 is suspicious, at best.
But appears in a known-valid Bush doc, a DD 44.
I'd drop this as evidence of forgery.
> 26. Kerning was not available
And may not be present in the forgeries. Kerning is off
by default in MS Word, and a non-kerned effort generates
a match that is more than adequately close. The kerning
charge is not needed.
Add: compare dates to where Bush actually was on
those dates.

Thanks,SkyPilot.
There's been so much info,it's been hard to keep straight.
This will make things easier for anyone to understand, particularly people that aren't FReepers.

I watched in amazement as Rather defended the indefensible-as if this was going away. I emailed CBS by going to their website and posting a complaint under the contact link at the bottom. I referred to these discrepancies briefly but also to the fact that CBS spiked the views of those closest to the commander, his son and widow.
I also informed them I would contact advertisers on the network. I think it is time to Freep those advertisers. Let's see how much pressure can be brought to bear. I called for them to come clean, fire Rather, and publish concrete steps they would follow to regain their credibility.(If they ever had any.) If they bother to write back I'll add what they said.

Rather Lied.
Typewriters cannot autocenter text.
This is what autocentering looks like.

Add: Wife and son of Killian disclaim and doubt documents.
Apart from that resounding non-endorsement on its face,
these "documents" obviously did not come from Killian's
"personal files".

It's the same defense that the Libs used to counter the Swifties: One new witness to counter a dozen Swifties differing recollection, and they therefor conclude the Swifties version is debunked.

Also just to add to and clarify your point 8 - "signature block" - following the stated rank, the caption "TX ANG" is missing from the CBS hoax documents - all GWB records (as well as my own form the same period at Ellington) carry this standard (military branch) designation
