Have you read CBS' defense? One thing I've not heard mentioned: Why did Killian not use hyphenated words at the end of lines? A proportional font does not let you know exactly whether there's enough room at the end of the line. It's a convenient coincidence that the replica I typed up in Word wraps the exact same words the "original" wrapped.

So, even if Killian's typewriter had th, I'd like to hear how he knew when to to a carriage-return. Were these typewriters computerized/buffered? In 1972?
