If this movement grows, I might reconsider my opinion of reclassifying "Islam" as a terrorist sect and trying to banish from America ... and the world. And this is from a libertarian who holds all articles in the Bill of Rights in high regard, including the First Amendment.
now? Could it be because the non-us media has been showing the BLOODY PIECES of the children of Russia? Could it be the little girl so young, who only knew her mothers name was "mama" after the attack? Could it bee seeing children in the hospitals desperatly holding on to life due to NAILS which had ripped their bodies?
This is way not enough. Actual parts of the Quran have to be adressed. Sanctioning lying to preserve the faith, violence to spread the faith, advocating death to non believers, and all the other tidbits of blood and misery that are required in writing by their "faith".
Response time is a very important factor in an apology, expression of sympathy, congratulations, or whatever. The longer one waits to send the appropriate sentiment, the more elaborate the form of expression must be. After three years, a simple "I'm sorry" will not cut it.
But it'a good start.
