Two more "Killian" documents
USA Today | 9/11/2004 | Charleston1

Posted on 09/11/2004 4:09:42 PM PDT by charleston1

The CBSNEWS website includes links to four pdf files that are allegedly documents produced by the late Lt. Colonel Jerry B. Killian. The USA Today website (search on "bush docs") includes a link "see the memos" which links to a pdf file which includes all of the CBS documents and two more. The two additional "Killian" documents are dated 02 February 1972, and 24 June 1973. The earlier document includes the more informal "Jerry B. Killian" signature block but no signature. The later document is an apparent practice letter with a salutation to "sir" but no address or name of the person to whom Colonel Killian is trying to correspond. I can certainly understand why these two additional documents did not make the "60 Minutes" cut. They are worth reviewing for a number of reasons if you have not seen them.

"Did you notice the letterhead on aug 72 memo. its superscripted"

Yep, sure is. Sort of takes the wind out of the cenered address being a preprinted form, doesn't it? Clearly some genius typist at the 111th Squadron of the TANG could produce perfect center justifications at will.

Bush was at the 5000 Longmont address in 1968 page 1
Bush was at 2039 One Half South BLVD by 1971 page 7

Well I'll be . . . Another smoking gun. This place is starting to look like the OK Corral.

It appears that one of the two memos not seen on CBS that USA Today had posted in the .pdf format on its website has now been removed. I had checked it out earlier and I think it's the one that was very short, had no signature by Mr. Killian.

Has anyone noticed this? Cover up?

"I still see 6 pages and 6 memos."

Ok, thanks. I tried to open it again, and my IE froze up. I tried again through AOL, and AOL froze up. I guess it's getting heavy traffic?

I've just read so much on this story these past couple of days, I immediately thought "conspiracy to cover up!". :)

I have made hard copies of the documents, saved the website data to my hard drive, and e-mailed Matt Drudge and an interested reporter. Does anyone want to save screen shots or videotape their screen:-) ? I really don't think the file will disappear at this point. What I find interesting is that so far I can't find those two new documents on any other major news agency website. I am still looking. Now if I only knew how to get this thread back up higher on the que so people could still find it easily. Obviously at over 4,400 views, the interest is there. I just don't know if it can be done here because I am a newbie.

Compare the header centering of the original documents with the new document header that is superscripted. It is slightly different. I fired up MS Word and it centers the superscripted header exactly the same as the document. More nails for the coffin!

The idiots forgot the put "Houston, Texas" in the header of one of the latest released documents. More proof that CBS knew they were forgeries - they withheld the sloppiest ones.

you are right - these other ones also mention "Harris" - find out more about him and you'll probably figure out more about why CBS didn't give those ones out, too.
