I am watching the Discovery channel and the program is about the personal effects found at the WTC site. It is very moving.
W.T.C. 9-11: Stories From the Ruins
Standing on the outskirts of John F. Kennedy International Airport, is an 80,00 square foot structure-- Hangar 17, which served as a shelter for jet airplanes until September 2001 when it was transformed into a shrine for the relics of a national tragedy.
Thanks for the heads-up. I have it on now.
FYI to NYers in the metro area. There is a great 9/11 show on 13 PBS right now about survivors and how they got out. "9/11:Two towers"
MSNBC has a good show on about the small store front turned into a photo gallery in tibute to 911. Very moving to hear of the visitors experiences.
