That's the phrase I've been using on the Net for about five years, calling them the "lamestream media." It hasn't caught on. Looks like the popular catch phrases will be "old media" and "new media."

I was just watching that show on Fox with Cal Thomas about the media. They were shaking in their boots about the phrase MSM, which they said was being used in a derogatory sense. I like yours better.

I saw that show, also. Yes, a FEW of the LSM are smart enough to be scared. Most are not that smart.
