Kerry is sick (in the head).

It would have been funnier if he had said "Thanks anyway, but if Teresa dies, I won't inherit one red cent!"

Looks like Kerry just let his social mask slip a little to show the rest of the world what he is really about.

The joke suggests that maybe Kerry DID plot to murder Federal officials.
Interesting that, given that he FAILED to stop terrorists at Logan airport
after being informed of their penetration BEFORE 911.

Now those are some real knee-slappers. If clinton could get elected for his expertise on the saxophone, kerry should be a shoe-in with that sophisticated sense of humor.

And then there's Kerry's involvement with the radical organization, Vietnam Veterans Against The War: they actually held discussions--and a vote was taken--whether to assassinate certain US Senators!
Kerry may be "joking" on the outside, but inside, he is dead serious. He definitely has the makings of a tyrant.

I saw a short clip on the news today of Kerry out Pheasant hunting. He was carrying an over-under shotgun. A bird jumped up and he threw up the gun to aim but did not shoot. I started laughing to myself thinking: Kerry= "Shall I use the over barrel...should I use the under barrel... too late the bird is out of range!!"

A year earlier, when Kerry was running for reelection, he uncorked a priceless rib-tickler about his opponent, Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld. "This guy," he said on Don Imus's radio show, "takes more vacations than the people on welfare." Is that a hoot? From Kerry??? LOL!

Kerry will never lose his sense of humor. (You can't lose something that you never had.)

His sense of humor and being a common man goes way back. Seems to me his antiwar, anti-troop tour in the early 70's was call "The wind doesn't blow in Vietnam, it sucks".

Guess you have to be there?
...seeing him look down that nose with a smug face I'm sure enhances the punchline?
To: FairOpinion
You can well believe that a man with this sense of humor would be capable of disappearing behind a thatch hut to shoot a naked Vietnamese teenager in the back.

Well, he's funnier than Algore.
Who's just plain nuts...

I don't believe any of this. I know for fact that Kerry always starts every joke with ... "When I was in Vietnam..."

Actually he's funny. He's the Stan Laurel of 21st Century politics. That's why no one can take seriously as a President. He's a laugh a minute. Every time you hear him, he says something that makes you wonder if he's in the wrong profession. Believe me, John F*ckin' would have a great time on the comedy circuit.
